The new Atlantic Technological University comprising GMIT, LYIT and IT Sligo, which will come into operation from this weekend, will contribute to the creation of thousands of jobs in the region, Higher Education Minister Simon Harris said this morning.

A virtual open evening on postgraduate programmes available in all GMIT campuses will take place today, February 17, from 6pm to 8pm. Hosted by the institute’s Graduate Studies and Professional Development Department, the event will be streamed live on openday.gmit.ie.
